In advanced Retriever Training your dogs progress will be measured very slowly.

The "Fundamentally trained" dog that emerges from the transition must slowly transform into a "Fully trained" dog. 

This level of training is not achievable by all dogs, nor is it possible to maintain this level of training indefinitely.

The biggest change in Hunt Tests in the last 10 years is that the tests more often require a "fully-trained" response than a "fundamentally trained" response.
